Undergraduate Pathway Programs is designed for Mainland Chinese high school students and adopts a segmented study model of “Mainland China Preparation + Overseas Undergraduate Study.” Students first complete 1–2 years of foundation, language, and basic academic courses at partner institutions in Mainland China. After meeting the required standards, they progress to undergraduate study at universities in Hong Kong or overseas and ultimately receive an official bachelor’s degree from the corresponding institution, The final degree is awarded by the relevant institution, subject to its graduation requirements .

Main Study Models

· 2+2 Model: 2 years in Mainland China + 2 years in Hong Kong or overseas, leading to a bachelor’s degree from a Hong Kong or overseas university.

· 1+3 Model: 1 year in Mainland China for language, foundation, or basic credit courses + 3 years in Hong Kong or overseas, progressing directly into an undergraduate program.

· 1+2+2 Model: 1 year of foundation study in Mainland China + 2 years of an Associate Degree / Higher Diploma in Hong Kong + 2 years of undergraduate study in Hong Kong, ultimately leading to a bachelor’s degree.

· Four-Year Direct Admission: Students who meet the requirements may apply directly to a four-year undergraduate program in Hong Kong and complete the entire degree there.

Degree Information After completing the overseas stage in Hong Kong or another destination and meeting all graduation requirements, students receive an official bachelor’s degree from the corresponding institution. Hong Kong degrees are recognized in Hong Kong, Mainland China, and internationally and may be eligible for credential verification by the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange. Overseas degrees are recognized in the awarding country and internationally and may also be eligible for credential verification where applicable.
